Overview
Emily’s experience spans a broad range of corporate and regulatory matters. She regularly conducts preemption analyses under the National Bank Act, NSMIA, and other federal and state financial laws. Her work includes preparing board governance playbooks for bank holding companies and advising clients on fiduciary duties under the Delaware General Corporation Law (DGCL), as well as other corporate governance matters.
Emily also develops resources related to business continuity and operational resilience, helping financial institutions meet legal and regulatory requirements in these critical areas. In addition to her core regulatory work, she is a member of the firm’s cross-disciplinary data privacy and security team, where she advises on emerging risks and compliance strategies in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
